Beautiful setting
Reviewed on 2025-02-15 by Jennifer B. , Keller, TX 76244, TX USThe condo was comfortable and nice. The kitchen was well setup and the bed was very comfortable. It could use some updating, but overall, we loved it and would stay again.
2nd time at 107
Reviewed on 2024-08-05 by Taylor F. , Huntington Beach, CA USThat should say it all, we had a great time and great views. Since the last time the owner upgraded to a mini split AC system that made the stay even better. Beds are always a tricky thing and the Master Bedroom was just way to soft for my wife and I... we slept in the spare room.
Lots of space with great ocean view!
Reviewed on 2024-07-03 by corine M. , chico, CA USLots of space for a family! Large new couch was great, the beds were very comfortable the kitchen had everything you needed including a crockpot and instapot! Great location and view of the ocean especially for whale watching season and we love the little hidden beach next to the property. It's quite a hike down but won't disappoint! I would stay here again.
Puu Poa getaway
Reviewed on 2023-10-09 by , Newport Beach, CA United StatesKitchen is huge- we didn’t cook at all.
Master bedroom is a bit odd with only a shutter instead of a wall or door on one side- not very private. Very nice bed, mattress comfortable and lovely Hawaiian quilt. Second bedroom is very small and feels dark. It’s odd there is no patio, only grass. Pool very nice. Location excellent.
This condo is nice but could use a furniture update. The main couch is leatherette (feels like plastic...) and torn all along the bottom. It looks very cheap. The other sofas seem to be old furniture from a second hand store.
Kitchen is huge- we didn’t cook at all.
Master bedroom is a bit odd with only a shutter instead of a wall or door on one side- not very private. Beautiful and Spacious
Reviewed on 2023-09-10 by , Hastings on Hudson, NY USGreat location with beautiful sunset views, 5 minute walk to great snorkeling from Pali Ke Kua beach that is right below the property. Convenient shopping and restaurants. Home is spacious and clean. Management is very responsive if you need assistance.

Reviewed on 2023-08-25 by , Kihei, HI United StatesBeautiful spot with great ocean view, although Pali Ke Kua nearby has ocean and mountain views. Some deferred maintenance issues - air conditioning kept shutting off requiring frequent flipping of circuit breaker, front curtains would not completely close, some light bulbs were out, one beach chair was broken. But place was clean and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great View, but otherwise lackluster
Reviewed on 2022-08-05 by Gary W. , Lake City, CO United StatesFurnishings and appliances are outdated, seemingly from the 90’s era, and not updated since.
Rusting appliances and window hinges everywhere.
Inadequate supply of toiletries for 4 people and 4 days. 2 tiny bottles of shampoo didn’t cut it, and we ran out of soap.
The lack of AC is a huge negative, and despite the listing it appeared the vast majority of the units in this complex do have AC. Lots of fans, but several didn’t work, and they did not keep it comfortable.
The kitchen was woefully inadequate, with no cookie sheets, terrible knives, no salt, pepper or other seasonings, no storage containers. Not possible to truly prepare meals in this kitchen.
Doors and screens were in disrepair, really tough to open and close. One set did not lock, meaning a security risk at night.
Worst of all, we were not notified of ongoing severe construction just outside the back patio, making our patio inaccessible from 8a-4p each day, and unpleasant during the day due to noise.
Would recommend others stay away from this unit unless location and view is all you care about it. Looked like most units in this complex were superior to this one.
The location and view here are amazing, even a first floor unit. However, the negatives of this unit outweigh the positives, even considering the view.

Furnishings and appliances are outdated, seemingly from the 90’s era, and not updated since.

What a GR8 condo and View
Reviewed on 2022-06-24 by Taylor F. , Huntington Beach, CA USThis condo was great, I think the only thing it needed was a split AC system like I noticed some of the condo having. The breeze really doesn't move around the condo at all and it gets warm at night.
wonderful stay
Reviewed on 2022-03-09 by Richard S. , Manotick, ON CAWe really really enjoyed our stay. We have nothing nothing negative to say about our stay. The highlight is the view and listening to the sounds of the ocean. The unit is very spacious, especially for only two people. It was very quiet and everyone aound us was very respectful.
Above the surf at Hideaways
Reviewed on 2021-12-08 by Samuel D. , Salt Spring Island, BC CAThe view of the surf at Hideaways, especially from the living room window, was stunning. The place was clean, well furnished and well maintained. The only exception was a broken countertop in one of the bathrooms. But that did not reduce my overall satisfaction.
Great location and views!
Reviewed on 2021-11-17 by , Kula, HI USThis was a pleasant stay. The location is fantastic. Right on the water. The condo is a great size, has everything you need. As others noted, it is very dated...the kind of dated where it doesn’t feel very clean even though it’s spotless. And this place was spotless! Probably a new paint job would cure that.
The view is incredible. Ocean from every front window. We looked for whales everyday, but didn’t see one. I bet in the height of the season there would be such a fantastic show in front. I do have to say we admired the upper floor condos as we walked to the pool. They seem to all have a giant lanai with tables and chairs outside. This condo has grass in front with no real inviting place to sit. There is a nice (and clean!) grill provided, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Someone else mentioned the soft bed. I never thought of myself as a firm mattress lover (in fact ours at home is probably right in the middle)...the mattresses in this condo are very soft. Like you sink in when you lay down. If you know you are a firm mattress person, you might consider another condo. No AC, but the fans in the bedrooms were just great. Never felt hot.
The pool is nothing to write home about. But it’s a pool...on the ocean. So there’s that. Overall we had a great stay. Awesome location in Princeville and beautiful views to be seen every morning you wake up.

Somewhat Disappointed
Reviewed on 2020-03-14 by John V. , United StatesWe arrived both bedroom closet doors not attached, kitchen bar stool seat was torn, later that week rain looked like it was coming up from floor, it was determined it was coming down window wall and tracking thru tiles. That would also explain the musty molding smell which triggered my wife's allergies. The water damage on woodwork indicates it was going on for awhile. The foot board on master bed also had tear in upholstery. Not what I would expect for the price we paid. Need better upkeep of you want to charge that price.
Mahalo!
Reviewed on 2020-02-17 by Fern R. , Sioux City, IA United StatesI enjoyed my stay at the condo. Nice accommodations and great location However, they will be remodeling the St. Regis Princeville Hotel nearby and that worries me because it is a very good nearby place that I like to visit.
Puu Poa 107
Reviewed on 2020-02-11 by , United StatesExcellent location. Ground level property. Musty smell and visible mold. We booked this property because it had a tennis court. However, there was no court key and we were unable to get one from the management company nor the resident manager. Not sure if this is a new property to this management team, but they did not seem to be very familiar with it. Upon arrival, a couple issues came up, but property management took care of them. Would likely stay at this complex again, but not this unit.
