The dishwasher did not work (we did know this and were prepared to hand wash dishes) but the drains moved very very slowly. Filter was out on the fridge creating loud persistent beeping. The primary bathrooms tub drain does not work so we were able to take a bath which was very disappointing. There is very little view from the house. I would only recommend this property if these issues got fixed.<br/><br/><br/>The blinds in the master bedroom were broken.

Reviewed on 2023-03-10 by , Mountain view, CA USIf you want to get away from the main crowds this is the place to stay. note that in extreme weather you can get stuck here for a day or two as the bridges can close and roads can be blocked. the house is very clean, with plenty of space, very functioning kitchen and a great deck. due to possible floods the house is on stilts so a lot of stairs to climb so not ideal for people with mobility issues. drive into Hanalei is pretty quick and very pretty. We love this location as after heavy rains the birds sing, the flowers brighten, the sun shines and the rainbows appear, yes seriously beautiful nature. If you prefer convenience then I recommend you not stay in this part of Kauai.
