Ź»Anini is a 2-mile stretch of beautiful white sand beach on KauaŹ»iās North Shore.
Ź»Anini Beach is one of the safest and most protected beaches along the North Shore of KauaŹ»i, thanks to a fringed reef that runs the entire two miles. It is known to be the longest reef in HawaiŹ»i.
Sylvester Stallone purchased the beachfront land fronting Ź»Anini Beach, subdivided it and sold off individual home sites. Today expensive homes of the "rich and famous" are located directly along Ź»Anini Beach and on the bluff above this scenic area of KauaŹ»i. The movie Honeymoon in Vegas was filmed at one of these homes. Many are available as KauaŹ»i vacation rentals.
The water on one side of the Ź»Anini Beach is only four feet deep and slowly increases to over 100 feet on the other side. Ź»Anini Beach is well known for windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving and fishing. There is no lifeguard at Ź»Anini Beach.
Ź»Anini Beach Park offers restrooms, showers, picnic tables and barbecue facilities. There are also shady Kamani trees. Camping requires a County permit.
To get to Ź»Anini from the LÄ«huŹ»e Airport, travel North on Highway 56 (also known as KhÅ«iÅ Highway) past KÄ«lauea, cross over the Kalihiwai Bridge and turn right on Kalihiwai Road (the SECOND road with this name), then turn left onto Ź»Anini Road and follow it to Ź»Anini Beach.
